Lars Thøger Christensen (Ph.D.), Professor of Communication and Organization at Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). His research interests include issues of transparency, identity, CSR, autocommunication, hypocrisy, talk-action dynamics, and voicing. He approaches these issues through a performative communication perspective focused on how organizations talk themselves into new realities. In addition to six books and contributions to many edited volumes, his research appears in Organization Studies, Human Relations, Communication Theory, Organization, Management Communication Quarterly, and elsewhere.
Marlies Whitehouse, PhD is a full professor of Applied Linguistics at Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. She is an associate editor of the International Journal of Business Communication and of the Handbook of Applied Linguistics Series, as well as the head of the finance committee of the Association for Business Communication. Her research fields and foci include applied linguistics, transdisciplinarity, professional literacy, financial communication, text production, and writing in the professions.
